Graag maakt de Rector Magnificus van de Universiteit Twente bekend dat Prof.dr. Lisette de Senerpont Domis door het College van Bestuur benoemd is tot hoogleraar Pervasive Systems aan de faculteit Elektrotechniek, Wiskunde en Informatica (EEMCS) en de faculteit Geo-Informatiewetenschappen en Aardobservatie (ITC), en een oratie zal geven in de Prof.ir. M.P. Breedveldzaal, Waaiergebouw, om 16.00 uur ter gelegenheid van haar benoeming.

Lisette de Senerpont Domis appointed by the Executive Board of the University of Twente as Professor of Pervasive Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS), and the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), will be giving an inaugural lecture in the Prof. ir. M.P. Breedveld Room, Waaier Building, at 16.00 hrs. on to mark the occasion of her appointment.

Under the banner of the National Science Agenda, a broad programme of three living labs and an umbrella project started in 2021. During the symposium at Hotel Zuiderduin (Egmond aan Zee), interim results of the research programme will be presented, two external keynote speakers will share inspiring experiences and there will be time in the workshop sessions to reflect and give input.

Onder de vlag van de Nationale Wetenschapsagenda startte in 2021 een breed programma van drie Living Labs en een overkoepelend project. Tijdens het symposium in Hotel Zuiderduin (Egmond aan Zee) worden tussentijdse resultaten van het onderzoeksprogramma gepresenteerd, geeft een gastspreker inspirerende ervaringen over biodiversiteit en landbouw, is er een expositie met o.a. posters over de Living Labs en is er tijd om te reflecteren en input te geven in interactieve workshops.
