Vegetation Type Pine forest with an admixure of deciduous trees and shrubs
Description of study site The forest is characterized by the lack of natural cavities suitable for cavity-nesting birds. All plots are located in a Scots pine Pinus sylvestris forest with an admixture of deciduous trees and shrubs (mainly: oak Quercus spp., birch Betula spp., the hornbeam Carpinus betulus).
