I'm a PhD candidate passionate about animal ecology, focusing on the influences of a range of habitat characteristics on animal personality in a song bird species.
In late 2023, I joined van Oers' group as a PhD student and began a project to test personality in great tits (Parus major), measure a range of habitat characteristics, and examine their associations. The project aims to highlight how multivariate habitat influences variation and selection in animal behaviours.
I completed my Master's in June 2023 at Beijing Forestry University, China. My MSc thesis focused on behavioural laterality and its relationship with breeding habitat selection.
During my Bachelor's (2014-2018), I joined a biodiversity survey team and completed a bird investigation in a national nature reserve in Hebei Province, China, which I used as the basis for my graduation thesis.
