Floor = hot = cold
Floor = hot = cold
With hot and cold water led through pipes in the concrete floors, we keep the temperature nice and constant.
Why?
To heat and to cool the building, we reuse heat and cold that has been stored. This keeps the temperature at a constant 18-20°C.

How?
We use a technique called concrete core activation: hot or cold water is led through pipes in the concrete floors and ceilings as required. Just touch the concrete with your hand to feel the effect! It's a technique that fits in perfectly with our philosophy of integral design and responsible use of materials. Energy transfer to the workspaces is done mostly through radiant heating, to ensure a comfortable climate. The temperature of each individual space can be adjust by its occupants, creating optimal conditions for work and research.
