Each year in February, the Netherlands Ecological Research Network (NERN) organises her annual conference, the Netherlands Annual Ecology Meeting (NAEM). LTER-LIFE
LTER-LIFE is a Large-Scale Research Infrastructure in the making. It will provide a state-of-the-art e-infrastructure to study and predict how changes in climate and other human-induced pressures affect ecosystems and biodiversity. We have applied for funding in the Call for proposals for Large-scale Research Infrastructure – National Roadmap Consortia 2021 of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). -
Impression of the King's visit to NIOO
Earlier this month, His Royal Highness King Willem-Alexander paid a working visit to the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW). The visit included a tour, an introduction to NIOO's three major research themes, and a number of hands-on ecological measurements and experiments in which the King took part. -
Koning op werkbezoek bij het NIOO
Koning Willem-Alexander bracht vandaag een werkbezoek aan het Nederlands Instituut voor Ecologie (NIOO-KNAW) in Wageningen. Naast een rondleiding kreeg de Koning uitleg over de onderzoeksthema's van het NIOO én nam hij deel aan een aantal praktische metingen en experimenten. -

Van de natuur valt veel te leren! Onderzoek stimuleren, samen met beleidsmakers, natuurbeheerders en bedrijven onderzoek doen en die nieuwe kennis daarna delen. Dat is de kracht van het NIOO. -
