    WAGENINGEN / UTRECHT ā€“ Trekvogels werden nogal eens verfoeid als het om vogelgriep ging. Nu blijkt dat ze het virus waarschijnlijk niet ons land inbrengen maar het hier juist oplopen, in ieder geval bij het onderzochte grieptype bij wilde eenden. Woensdag 8 oktober promoveert dierecoloog Jacintha van Dijk van het Nederlands Instituut voor Ecologie (NIOO-KNAW) hierop bij Universiteit Utrecht.
