Each year, the Ig Nobel Prizes honour achievements that make people laugh and then think.
Two weeks after the main awards ceremony in Harvard, the European Ig Nobel show will highlight some of the winning research and other improbable, unusual and imaginative studies.
One of the researchers featured at the NEMO Science Centre this year will be NIOO-KNAW's Kelly Sierra Ramirez, about the richness of the soil community...in seven words and 24 seconds: "The real jungle is under your feet."
Winners of the 2015 Ig Nobel Prizes include a successful attempt to demonstrate that if you pin a (clay) dinosaur's tail on a chicken, it will actually walk like a T-Rex. More information here, check out the video below for the ceremony in Harvard.
