For the summer period 2018 (July, August, September) we are looking for a motivated student (BSc or MSc) from the field of biology/environmental- or aquatic sciences (or other related), who wants to gain experience in a big mesocosm experiment (Limnotrons, https://nioo.knaw.nl/en/facilities-nioo) in the field of lake ecology.

In the mesocosms we will simulate lake ecosystems and asses how different systems respond to climate change. We offer nice work in an international team of researchers, knowledge transfer within the team (learning from and with experts) and the possibility to learn how to realize and run a big mesocosm experiment (inlcuding preparations, maintenance and measurement and analysis of several water-quality parameters).

If interested, please contact us.
