Vegetation Type Mixed deciduous forest. The vegetation is dominated by beech Fagus sylvatica and acer Acer sp., along with some conifers (spruce Picea abies, fir Abies alba, larch Larix decidua)
Description of study site A mountainous forest located in Lower Austria , an altitudinal gradient ranging from 488 to 903 meters above sea level
