Open Science is changing the way scientific research is conducted. Open Science includes open (i.e. available to anyone to access and use) data, code, publications, and review. Increase in Open Data is especially valuable for complex fields of Ecology and Evolution.
This project seeks to:
Bridge the gap between Open Science and Ecology/Evolutionary Biology
Study the extent of incorporation of Open Science in EcoEvo research
Evaluate the extent to which open datasets are available, how easy/difficult it is to find them, and are they FAIR enough to allow their use (understanding)
Evaluate the added value of open datasets to meta-analysis
