I graduated as a biological technician at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Before I started working at NIOO I had different jobs as research technician at various research institutes. In 1998 I started working at NIOO where I conducted experiments with waterfowl. Since 2009 I am a member of the department of Animal Ecology where I assist  in various projects.
