Water quality in a polder ditch network is not only governed by total nutrient input but also by the spatial variation of this input and the peculiar pattern of hydrological connectivity.

We use a combination of models to predict how different scenarios of land use will affect water quality and macrophyte composition in the Dutch Polder Oukoop.
