AQUACOSM is a network connecting aquatic mesocosms in twelve European countries: from the Arctic to the Mediterranean, across salinity boundaries and multiple environmental gradients.

The goal of AQUACOSM is to coordinate research, develop common best practices and open large-scale research infrastructures (mesocosms) for international cross-discipline participation.

NIOO is a one of the partners in this network both as work group leader and by opening up the limnotron facility.
